Hi, I’m Christian Skafte Beck Clausen, a Danish Software Engineer (PhD).
I currently work as a senior software engineer at Jeppesen ForeFlight, Odense, Denmark, where I develop and maintain backend services for the ForeFlight electronic flight bag (EFB) app.
I’ve previously worked as an Assistant Professor at the SDU Center for Energy Informatics where I architected and implemented an agent-based simulation framework for a cloud-native simulation-as-a-service platform. Furthermore, I’ve contributed to projects spanning software framework design, distributed systems, multi-objective optimization, co-simulation, and software testing frameworks, and I’ve published and presented several peer-reviewed papers along the way at conferences around the world.
At my core, I’m curious, driven by value creation and continuous learning, and like connecting and collaborating with people who share a passion for technology, creativity, and great ideas.
When I’m AFK, you’ll probably find me traveling the world with my family, tinkering as a hobby car mechanic, strumming my guitar, enjoying concerts, or petting my two cats.
You’re welcome to reach me by email or any of my social media 😊
